How content on this site is sourced, checked and corrected.
Calculate My IPPT Score →1) Official sources — CMPB, MINDEF (including its published answers on ask.gov.sg), OneNS and LifeSG. 2) The published SAF/CMPB scoring chart, cross-checked between two independent publishers. 3) Clearly attributed community reporting, used only for experience-type content and always hedged as such. If a figure cannot be placed in tier 1 or 2, it is either labelled as reported experience or not published.
Scoring content is computed from the same verified table data as the calculator — never re-typed by hand. New factual claims about rules (windows, exemptions, payments) are checked against an official page before they go live; where verification is impossible, the item is deferred, not guessed.
Confirmed errors are fixed promptly and, where a reader reported them, credited in our reply. Material changes to a page update its "Updated" date.
Guides carry a visible "Scoring tables last verified" date and are re-checked on a rolling cycle. Pages affected by announced policy changes (for example the Medical Classification System from October 2027) carry dated notes ahead of the change.
