IPPT Target Planner โ€” What Run Time Do You Need?

Choose the award you want, enter the push-ups and sit-ups you can do, and the planner works backwards from the exact scoring tables to the slowest 2.4km run that still gets you there โ€” plus the pace to run it.

How the Planner Works

Your target is a total: static points (push-ups + sit-ups, maximum 50) plus run points (maximum 50). The planner subtracts your static points from the target, then finds the slowest run time in your age group's exact scoring band that earns the rest. If your statics already reach the target, you still need at least 1 run point โ€” a zero in any station fails the whole test. If even a perfect 50-point run cannot close the gap, the planner tells you exactly how many more static points (and reps) you need.

Set your splits with the 2.4km pace calculator, check your full score in the IPPT calculator, and keep the printable score chart (PDF) on your phone for test day.
