The award table

AwardPoints (NSmen)IncentiveBadge
Gold85–100 (90 for Commandos, Divers, Guards)$500Gold IPPT badge
Silver75–84$300Silver IPPT badge
Pass with Incentive61–74$200—
Pass51–60——

These amounts have been in place since 2014. The same incentive scheme applies to NSFs (once posted to their unit) and Regulars — but not during training: pre-enlistee IPPT, BMT IPPT and tests during SCS/OCS carry no payout.

When and how you are paid

Incentives are paid about 14 days after the test. If you test at a Fitness Conditioning Centre with PayNow linked to your NRIC, payment can be immediate. Check your own score first on the IPPT Calculator.

What is your score worth?

Use the Target Planner: tell it the award you want and your current reps, and it gives you the exact slowest run that gets you paid.

FAQs

How much is the IPPT Gold incentive?

$500, plus the Gold IPPT badge. Silver pays $300 and Pass with Incentive pays $200. Amounts have been unchanged since 2014.

When is the IPPT incentive paid?

About 14 days after the test — or immediately at a Fitness Conditioning Centre if your PayNow is linked to your NRIC.

If I retake IPPT and score higher, do I get paid again?

You receive only the difference between the award already paid and the higher award — e.g. $200 then Silver pays $100 more. Only one Gold award is payable per IPPT window.
