Pre-set to the NSF / Regular profile: your pass mark is 61, not 51. Enter your three stations and see instantly whether you clear it β and exactly which station to fix if you don't.
Partial exemption uses MINDEF's pro-rated passing standards: Pass = 39 of 75 (one static exempt) or 26 of 50 (run only). Per MINDEF, NSmen exempted from any static station are NOT eligible for monetary incentive awards.

For you: NSF & Regular IPPT Calculator
The NSF / Regular standard
Full-time national servicemen and regulars are held to the 61-point pass. The score targets still map to the same award bands (Silver 75, Gold 85 β 90 for Commandos, Divers and Guards), so use the award ladder and the reverse target solver below the calculator to plan your next test: pick 75 or 85 and it tells you the single cheapest station to improve. New to the test? Start with what is IPPT and the how to pass plan.
How to Use This IPPT Calculator
Pick your profile β NSman, NSF/Regular or Pre-enlistee (the pass mark differs), and tick the Commando/Diver/Guard or medical-exemption boxes if they apply to you.
Enter your results β your age, push-ups and sit-ups in 1 minute, and your 2.4km run time. Your score updates live.
Read your result β total score out of 100, your award and incentive, how many points you need for the next award, and the cheapest next point in each station.
Plan the gap β use the Target Planner for the exact run time your target award needs, then print your scorecard or copy your result link to share it.
IPPT Scoring at a Glance
The same performance earns different points in different age groups, across 14 age bands from under-22 to 58β60. Run scores use 10-second bands.
How IPPT scoring works: three stations, one 100-point total, adjusted for your age group.
πͺ
25 pts
Push-Ups
Repetitions in 1 minute. Tests upper-body strength and endurance.
π€Έ
25 pts
Sit-Ups
Repetitions in 1 minute. Tests core and abdominal endurance.
π

2.4km Run
Timed run. Worth half your total score β the station that moves your result most.
Worked Example β a 66-Point Score, Line by Line
For an NSman aged 25β27: 30 push-ups = 17 points, 35 sit-ups = 18 points and a 12:40 2.4km run = 31 points. Total: 66 points = Pass with Incentive ($200). Every number is a direct lookup in the verified scoring tables β try it in the calculator above.
Your three station points are added: push-ups (max 25) + sit-ups (max 25) + 2.4km run (max 50) = 100. Points are looked up from the scoring table for your age group. See the full IPPT points table.
What score do I need to pass IPPT?
NSmen: 51 to pass, 61 for Pass with Incentive ($200), 75 for Silver ($300), 85 for Gold ($500) β with at least 1 point in every station. NSF, Regulars and pre-enlistees generally need 61. Full details on the passing score page.
What if I score zero in one station?
That is an automatic fail, even if your total is above 51.
How many push-ups do I need for maximum points?
60 reps if you are under 22 β and far fewer as you get older: the 58β60 group needs only 40 reps. See push-up points by age.
How many sit-ups do I need for maximum points?
60 reps if you are under 22 β and far fewer as you get older: the 58β60 group needs only 44 reps. See sit-up points by age.
What 2.4km run time gives full points?
8:30 or faster for under-22s earns the maximum 50 points, with thresholds easing for older age groups. See run points by age.
How much money do I get for IPPT Gold?
NSmen receive $500 for Gold (85+ points), $300 for Silver (75β84) and $200 for Pass with Incentive (61β74). Commandos, Divers and Guards need 90 points for Gold β see the Gold score page.
Does my IPPT score change with age?
Yes. There are 14 age groups, and thresholds ease as you move up, so the same performance earns more points when you are older. See IPPT age groups explained.
Does this calculator work for servicewomen (female IPPT)?
Not yet β and on purpose. Servicewomen use separate tables (including bent-knee push-ups) that are not published alongside the CMPB male tables. We found only one complete online copy, and it disagrees with the official scheme document in a few cells, so we will not guess with your score. This calculator covers the verified male tables; female tables will be added only when they can be verified to the same standard. See our methodology.
How many points does an NSF need to pass IPPT?
61 points, with at least 1 point in every station. A total of 51β60 passes for an NSman but not for an NSF or Regular.
What if one station scores zero?
Zero in any station is an automatic fail regardless of total β and for NSmen a passing total with a zero static station is a partial failure requiring a retest of that station.

Reverse Target Solver β What Must Change?
Pick a target score. Using the results in the calculator above, the solver shows the single-station change that gets you there β the cheapest fix in each station.
Solved from the same verified tables as the calculator. If you are medically exempt from a station, that station is left out.
